GLOBAL CLEAN ENERGY CONGRESS

WADE Canada, dmg events and Calgary Economic Development (CED) announced today that the inaugural Global Clean Energy Congress and Exhibition has been awarded to Calgary. The event will be held at Stampede Park in Calgary, Alberta, Canada from November 1 – 3, 2011. Calgary, Alberta was chosen to host this event because it is home to many of the largest headquarters for oil and gas companies in North America, and its strength in facilitation of emerging clean energy practices, research and development, application and integration of technologies.

Calgary Economic Development will have a major role in attracting the expected 4,000 attendees from around the world and over 500 congress delegates from 200 exhibiting companies. This important event will explore the latest innovations in clean energy technology from a global perspective, and includes a three-day congress and exhibition with international leaders in clean energy.

The Global Clean Energy Congress and Exhibition will showcase a number of unique elements from the smallest inventor in the Innovation Stations to the larger exhibitor showcasing real-world applications and integrated technologies in the Technology Zone.
